Hello Darling - we were ALL at Graham's on Christmas Day and I was apprehensive about who would take your place sitting under the tree giving out the presents so I decided to! I found your old Father Christmas outfit in the loft so I pressed it and dressed up in it just before the presents were given out. I hadn't told anyone and they were all so surprised and laughed so much - it broke the atmosphere and has set a new tradition! You always bought me a piece of jewellery so I bought myself a silver necklace from you - I sent a small amount of your ashes to a company called Ashes into Glass and they blow it in a drop tube and attach it to the necklace - it's beautiful and I feel it's near my heart and that you're close to me. The children bought me some lovely presents and one was a Sat Nav - you know what my sense of direction was like! We all stayed overnight - had breakfast and then we all went for a looooooooooong walk in Windsor Great Park with your Dad in the wheelchair and all the dogs. The children and grandchildren gave me some lovely presents and they all looked after me but I missed you so much and I know everyone else did too - it just isn't the same without you! Came home at 3.30pm (Boxing Day)for a rest and a BIG cry and then went to Val and Dave's tonight for dinner - they are missing you too! I cried ALL the way home thinking of lovely happy Christmases with you - I love you so much and still can't believe you're gone from our lives!
