I first met John and Anne when they were staying in a Villa next to ours on Calabay Parc Blvd. My husband Peter was still alive then and we got on really well. The next time we met, Peter had died very unexpectedly and Anne and John made my first visit to the villa without Peter so much easier. We had some wonderful times including John rescuing me from an errant thorn bush. I miss them not being there when I go over there.
