'GRANDAD FRED' Grandad, there are so many words that spring to mind today It's hard to put them together with what we really want to say You really were a tough old boot - 92 (well nearly 93.....all but 4 days)! You made us proud to have known you in so many different ways We will certainly miss making your lunch - Tomato soup every day And every time we dished it up......"Oh my favourite", you would say!!!! You lived with us for 2 years we cared for you every day We would hear you through the monitor, clonking all the way! Even when the paramedics came yur jokes were just the best You told them what NHS meant - "You poor things" you said, "Never Had Sex"!!!!!! When friends popped in to say Hello yo would be singing in your chair You'd tip your hat, raise your hand and say "It's good to shake hands with a millionaire"! 'Shannadore I love your daughter' - You serenaded us every day 42nd Street you would sing to Maria....when she was tap dancing away You will have probably met up with Nan and Dad now God help everyone up there - You'll all be causing havoc.....somehow, somewhere! You made us proud to have known you, very proud to say the least We will miss you so much but we're glad you're now at peace Well Grandad, it's time to say Cheerio.....Au Revoir! Sleep peacefully - God Bless - You really do deserve the rest!
