Dearest John I can hardly believe that just over a year ago now the 4 of us were so looking forward to our sailing holiday. It was to be something special, celebrating your 70th that had just passed and John's forthcoming 60th. So many memories.... how we used to get together each week at the same time to weigh ourselves so we would all be nice and slim for our holiday. Then we would celebrate our weight loss with glasses of wine!! We talked excitedly about the trips we had chosen whilst on the cruise and found out we had chosen almost the same ones! Unfortunately you couldn't go as you were not well - little did we know what was to come. John, we so miss you -the 4 of us really gelled. We had so much in common and so much more to do together. John. you would be so proud of dear Anne, she has been so very brave when I know she is hurting so very much. One day you will be together again in heaven.
