Following my car accident on 3 September I am still in this horrible steel body brace. They told me I would have to wear it for 6 to 12 weeks and when they xrayed me on 16 November they told me it's not healing. I've had to have an MRI and CT scan and am waiting the results and may have to have an operation. I'm still in so much pain and feel so frustrated at losing my independence. I'm trying so hard to carry on with life and adapt to what I can and can't do. I realise that I am lucky to be alive and not paralysed and that there are so many people far worse off than me. You not being here to help me is so hard - you always used to make everything alright! I love and miss you so much and constantly think about you all the time.
