It meant so much to share the joys of love and family with you John. Through the years I saw so many wonderful sides of you - the loving husband who made me feel special and cherished, the caring father who faced each responsibility of parenthood with strength and wisdom - the good friend who people loved to be with. I feel very lucky and proud to have been married to you for 46 years for you gave me so much that made my life rich and full. As we shared the years and raised our family together each of us changed and grew and we helped each other learn more about ourselves and what is important in life. We laughed and cried together and stuck by each other no matter what. We shared everything that came our way that some people will never know - a lasting commitment to each other. That's what love is all about - cherishing all our shared yesterdays and enjoying each day together and looking forward to each new day. Together we created a very special world - a world filled with love, laughter, warmth and friendship. No words can describe what you meant to me and our family. Now all I have are my treasured memories of you, our beautiful family we created and memories of our wonderful life together to last for the remainder of my life.
