MY BIRTHDAY - Hi John - it was the second birthday without you in my life and I miss you so much it hurts. I put up one of the beautiful birthday cards you gave me a few years ago that I had kept in my bedroom - it made me feel comforted to see your handwriting. Our family and friends gave me some beautiful presents and cards. I had my new friends form the WOW (widows, orphans and widowers) group round in the evening and we had a hot buffet supper. Some of them brought desserts and Pauline helped me and stayed the night. Pauline is lovely and I know you would have liked her a lot.
